Stre.am is an app that lets you stream live video to the world straight from your Android device. To do this, you can use your device's camera and also broadcast what's playing on your screen (ideal for video games).

To be able to use the Stre.am service, you have to create a user account. With this user account you can also leave comments on other users' live videos and rate them. Without an account you can watch the video streams but cannot leave comments.

Stre.am has a very interesting social component, since users can customize their profiles and create live streams periodically so that other users can watch them. Actually the functionality is similar to services like Twitch, but focused mainly on Android.

Stre.am is an excellent way to broadcast gameplay from Android video games, but also an excellent way to broadcast anything else straight from your Android device.
